Chocolate Event – UPDATE

Chocolate Coated Fun: ”Forget love … I’d rather fall in chocolate!”

Right folks, time for an update on performers… We’ve now confirmed a whole heap of exciting musicians and dancers to perform on the night so we thought we’d list them to whet your appetites:

Angeline Morand:

Newly graduated from Vocal Tech music school with a great passion for performing – Angeline Morand is a remarkable soul singer. Her influences range from Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner and Seal to Bob Marley, Paloma Faith and many more. Originally from France, she is now in London exploring its music scene and making waves! Her unique set contains elements of soul, pop, reggae, folk and jazz.

Dominic Youdan:
Dominic Youdan is a young, fresh singer songwriter with a voice that makes him stand-out from the crowd. For more information including videos check out his myspace page.

Irene Hui:
Irene Hui is a classically trained musician who will be singing and playing an acoustic set.

Ella Rae:
Also confirmed is singer Ella Rae – you can check her out and download her songs here.

Sasha Paige:
Singer/songwriter Sasha Paige will be performing on the night. Her smooth soulful voice will definitely add extra flavour to our chocolate fun!

Dancers:
Lilly is a Latin dancer, pictured below with her dance partner Christine. They will be performing the Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive. Lilly performs at shows and events around London and we are excited to have her performing at the event!

Sweet Kriminal:
We’re ending the night slightly raising the tempo with Sweet Kriminal who describes herself as ‘sweet vocals’ with a R&B / Hip hop mix. So for those who like to dance this will fulfil your night.

Raffle Prizes:

Our volunteer Malin has just got us some gifts from the luxurious shop The Melange to raffle at the event! Based in London, The Melange produces innovative and traditionally handmade products, using only natural ingredients. If you have anything that we could raffle for charity on the night then please let us know.

About Shanti-International-Charity

Shanti International is an international charity dedicated to empowering under-privileged people and improving their economic and social well-being. A simple ethos of giving others what we take for given underpins all our projects whether we are providing education, support or medication for preventable diseases. In a fair society, everyone should be able to live a life where opportunities are available for them to improve their situation. Shanti International envisions a world where each individual has basic human rights, the freedom, confidence and community support to address any social problems and bring about change. At the heart of any help we provide for the vulnerable, is the aim of helping individuals take advantage of all the possible opportunities that exist for them, so that the most disadvantaged people can live an independent life. We are not limited by causes and strive to be wherever a helping hand is needed. From addressing the legitimate concerns of people and families living with HIV/AIDS and providing care and support services; to protecting young girls and women from crimes like domestic violence, trafficking for flesh trade, child prostitution, child labour and other forms of exploitation, Shanti International is there to take a stand.
