Fashion Show – UPDATE

With so much happening in the last week or so, we’ve decided to give an update on those participating in our fashion show – Fashion On and On – 23/03/11

More designers confirmed:

Up-and-coming designer Susmita has recently confirmed that she will be presenting her women’s Spring Summer Collection 2011 entitled ‘Indo-Western Fusion’ at our event. In this collection she will be working on mainly fusion of upcoming Indian and Western European trends, fabrics, colours and embroideries. For the fashion show her inspiration will be Mughal Arts.
We are delighted to be able to give Susmita the opportunity to showcase her fabulous style – she is a young graduate designer with very exciting designs and we feel that her inclusion fits perfectly into Shanti International Charity‘s ethos of involving young people in fundraising.

Another new exhibitor who has just confirmed that they will be showcasing a collection at our fashion show is Khushbu Ltd. Established in October 2000, Khushbu is a UK based company which specialises in Asian fashion and caters for everyone. Khushbu provides a much needed combination of quality, comfort, flattering fittings, fantastic value and above all the latest and most beautiful clothes and accessories to keep your look up to the new fashion trends. Their collections have special emphasis on colours, prints, and embroidery making the outfits colourful and most importantly fun to wear and due to our amazing pricing strategy affordable and easy to buy. We are excited to have KhushbuFashions presenting their designer collection at our fashion show!

We also have confirmed Designer Yidia who will be presenting her Clothes Label Aisha, displaying a great fusion of bright prints and colours with funky dresses!

Victoria Jackson Cosmetics have recently offered to donate some of their gorgeous make-up for us to raffle on the night. We are very grateful for this donation – along with a dress that has been donated by Jewel Clothing and some goodies from Whittards of Chelsea, our raffle is really taking shape! We are currently in discussion with several other companies and designers and hope to announce more prizes shortly so WATCH THIS SPACE!!

About Shanti-International-Charity

Shanti International is an international charity dedicated to empowering under-privileged people and improving their economic and social well-being. A simple ethos of giving others what we take for given underpins all our projects whether we are providing education, support or medication for preventable diseases. In a fair society, everyone should be able to live a life where opportunities are available for them to improve their situation. Shanti International envisions a world where each individual has basic human rights, the freedom, confidence and community support to address any social problems and bring about change. At the heart of any help we provide for the vulnerable, is the aim of helping individuals take advantage of all the possible opportunities that exist for them, so that the most disadvantaged people can live an independent life. We are not limited by causes and strive to be wherever a helping hand is needed. From addressing the legitimate concerns of people and families living with HIV/AIDS and providing care and support services; to protecting young girls and women from crimes like domestic violence, trafficking for flesh trade, child prostitution, child labour and other forms of exploitation, Shanti International is there to take a stand.
