Fantastic Media News!

A massive shout-out and thanks goes to the fabulous In-spireLS magazine who have done an amazing feature on us which can be found here.

We love what they stand for and feel that it ties in with our ethos:

In-spireLS magazine is a brand new online lifestyle magazine that is predominantly aimed at men and women aged between 18-35+. It features Q&A’s from Talents and industry moguls and inspirational articles which can relate to all audiences regardless of their sex, race or age. The magazine was created as a response to the nostalgic and repetitive content of gossip magazines that have been on the market for many years. It is currently updated with a new and exciting issue at the end of every month.
Here is how co-creator and editor Sasha Shantel Bennett who is a freelance writer, blogger, career advisor and model describes the magazine:

“You will notice that In-spireLS magazine is not celebrity driven. You won’t see a bombardment of celebrities with no make-up or cellulite. Neither will you ever read anything that stems from negativity. In-spireLS is a creative space for up and coming and established talent and features interviews and articles that aim to leave you feeling in-spired and motivated.”

Also covering the event on the night is Gutter Magazine

Gutter magazine was founded in 2006 to highlight fashion, arts and underground or street culture that was missing from most Baltimore area media outlets. Four years later, Gutter went global by bringing on the expertise of UK Editor Leila Hawkins. We love Gutter Magazine and are really excited to have them involved!

Other media organisations covering the event on the night include The London Word and Eastern Eye (both will also be previewing it),  Asian Wedding Online and Asiana TV. Asiana TV have very kindly offered to sell tickets for the event. We are also listed in several magazine calendars.

We are really pleased by the interest which this event is generating in the media – We are currently in discussions so hopefully more press will come down on the night.

About Shanti-International-Charity

Shanti International is an international charity dedicated to empowering under-privileged people and improving their economic and social well-being. A simple ethos of giving others what we take for given underpins all our projects whether we are providing education, support or medication for preventable diseases. In a fair society, everyone should be able to live a life where opportunities are available for them to improve their situation. Shanti International envisions a world where each individual has basic human rights, the freedom, confidence and community support to address any social problems and bring about change. At the heart of any help we provide for the vulnerable, is the aim of helping individuals take advantage of all the possible opportunities that exist for them, so that the most disadvantaged people can live an independent life. We are not limited by causes and strive to be wherever a helping hand is needed. From addressing the legitimate concerns of people and families living with HIV/AIDS and providing care and support services; to protecting young girls and women from crimes like domestic violence, trafficking for flesh trade, child prostitution, child labour and other forms of exploitation, Shanti International is there to take a stand.
