Fashion Show – More Great Acts Confirmed

Just a quick one to announce some amazing talent that is coming down to our fashion show this Wednesday.

Dance group ‘a:m’ – which consists of dancers Amir Khan and Maariya Arshad – are a street dancing duo incorporating various styles such as popping, locking, tutting and waving to create a “unified ensemble of spectacularity”.  These guys are awesome and will be entertaining guests in-between the various designer’s slots. We can’t wait!

Music on the night will be provided by two DJs:

For the fashion show itself, we are proud to present DJ Yann Solo who says his DJ set will be full of Pop Music spun with Frenchy House in a very electric way.. Here’s how he describes himself:

“Yann Solo is a french DJ, composer, remixer and live performer. He has worked in France, Belgium, Spain, Turkey, Caribbean and is currently living in London. He plays mainly electronic music, using his classical background to find sounds charged with emotions, from commercial hits to more underground beats, and spins them into electric sets with his own remixes and productions. Destined to all public dancefloor, his own genre is called STORM AND STRESS.”

Following Yann Solo is DJ Anore FX who will be taking over from 11pm and rocking the dancefloor at our afterparty.  Originally from Lithuania, Anore fx is part of “Flaxen Beats” – a well known eastern european dj team and will be spinning his unique brand of funky house into the wee hours..

About Shanti-International-Charity

Shanti International is an international charity dedicated to empowering under-privileged people and improving their economic and social well-being. A simple ethos of giving others what we take for given underpins all our projects whether we are providing education, support or medication for preventable diseases. In a fair society, everyone should be able to live a life where opportunities are available for them to improve their situation. Shanti International envisions a world where each individual has basic human rights, the freedom, confidence and community support to address any social problems and bring about change. At the heart of any help we provide for the vulnerable, is the aim of helping individuals take advantage of all the possible opportunities that exist for them, so that the most disadvantaged people can live an independent life. We are not limited by causes and strive to be wherever a helping hand is needed. From addressing the legitimate concerns of people and families living with HIV/AIDS and providing care and support services; to protecting young girls and women from crimes like domestic violence, trafficking for flesh trade, child prostitution, child labour and other forms of exploitation, Shanti International is there to take a stand.
